CANVAS PAINTING INSTRUCTOR

PRINCIPAL FUNCTION

Instructing customers/students how to paint canvas art.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Set up for class ½ hour before class begins.
2. Orientate students to studio amenities.
3. Give a quick class overview.
4. Instruct students of all levels on how to paint that particular class painting in a step-by-step instruction.
5. Help individuals as needed with projects.
6. Clean up studio after class is finished.
7. Promoting Naked Plates canvas painting classes in the community.
8. Create your own paintings for your individual classes.
9. Maintain a neat and professional personal appearance.

10.  Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

1. High School Diploma
2. 18 years of age.
3. Minimum of one (1) years related experience preferred in art/drawing.
4. Strong communication and leadership
5. Customer service skills to handle challenging situations.
6. Excellent organizational skills.
7. Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
8. Ability to handle multiple tasks and functions while maintaining a low personal stress level.
9. Physical Requirements:  Bend, stoop, crouch, climb, stand, sit and turn/pivot; Lift/lower, push, pull and carry up to 40 lbs; perform office tasks using simple hand grasping, fine hand manipulation and reach associated with assigned tasks such as paperwork, typing, and/or word processing, filing, calculating and use of telephone; See, hear, and speak with sufficient capability to perform assigned tasks and maintain proper job safety conditions.
